MULTI-STOREY SOLUTIONS

Freedom in architectural design

Steel technology gives architechts total creative freedom and enables them to create bold projects with striking architechtural expression.

Larger usable area

Steel pillars and beam’s sections are substantially thinner than their concrete-based counterparts, and it results in better use of internal spaces and in larger usable areas, which are very important factores mainly in garages

Flexibility

The steel structure is specially suitable in cases requiring adaptations, expansions, renovations and changes in building occupancy processes. furthermore, it makes the passage of utilities such as water, air conditioning, electricity, sewage, telephone, computing, among others, easier.

Compatibility with other materials

The steel work construction system perfectly matches any type of closing material, both vertical and horizontal. it accepts from the most conventional (bricks and blocks, cast-in-place slabs) to prefabricated components (concrete slabs and panels, drywall panels, among others).

Load relief on foundations

Steel structures can reduce the cost with foundations by up to 40% because the are lighter.

Gains antecipation

The faster work execution speed leads to additional gain due to the early occupation of the property and to faster return on the invested capital

Shorter delivery time

Structure manufacturing in parallel with foundantion’s building process, the possibility of simultaneously working on several service fonts, reduced numbers of formworks and supports, and the fact that the structure assemby process is not affected by rainfall can reduce execution time by 60% in comparison to conventional processes.

Construction accuracy

Concrete structure’s accuracy is measured in centimeters, whereas steel structure’s accuracy is measured in millimiters. this process guarantees a perfectly upright and level structure, makes activities, such as installing frames, elevators, as well as reducing costs with coating materials, easier.

Material and labor rationalization

material waste in construction sites subjected to conventional processes can reach 25% in weight. the steel structure enables adopting industrialized systems and it helps significantly reducing material waste.

Environmental preservation

The steel structure is less harmful to the environment because, besides reducing wood consumption in the construction site, it reduces particulate matter emission and noise pollution generated by chainsaws and by other equipment used to work on wood.

Quality assurance

Steel structure manufacturing takes place in a factory that counts on highly qualified labor, and it gives our clients the guarantee of a high-quality work due to strict control applied throughout the industrial process.

Recyclability

Steel is 100% recyclable. metal structures can be dismantled and reused with less waste generation.

Construction site organization

The fact that the steel structure if fully prefabricated enables beter construction-site organizaton due to, among other things, lack of large sand, gravel, cement, wood and hardware deposits. in addition, it reduces these material’s inevitable waste. clean environment, with less debris generation, also offers better conditions for workers and helps mitigating accidents at the construction site.

COLUMNS

They aim at bearing and transferring loads to the foundations. the used pillar types comprise:

ISOLATED PILLARS

FEATURES:

  • Ease of manufacturing and execution;

  • Economical use in works of up to 10 floors with low overloads;

  • May require application of passive fire protection.

TUBULAR PILLARS OF RECTANGULAR OR SQUARE SECTION FILLED WITH IRONWORK AND CONCRETE

FEATURES:

  • They rule out the need of formworks during execution in the construction site;

  • Fast project execution;

  • They do not require passive fire-protection application

CIRCULAR-SECTION TUBULAR PILLARS FILLED WITH IRONWORK AND CONCRETE

FEATURES:

  • They rule out the need of formworks during execution in the construction site;

  • Fast project execution;

  • They do not require passive fire-protection application

PILLARS FULLY COVERED WITH IRONWORK AND CONCRETE

FEATURES:

  • Reduced steel consumption;
    They require using formwork during execution in the construction site;

  • They do not require passive fire-protection application;

  • Fast project execution.

SLABS

It is a metal framework system whose purpose is to support the concrete at the initial assembly stage and to work as mixed element after concreting completion, when  it acts together with the concrete to provide final strength to the slab.

STEELDECK

Given the metal formwork resistance at the concreting stage, the slab does not require shoring, a fact that shortens assembly time and reduces waste production at the construction site.

FEATURES:

  • The metal deck works as positive reinforcement to the slab;

  • It rules out the need of using shoring during the concreting stage;

  • Easy execution;

  • Voids between the structure and the deck can be used to pass cables and systems

METAL STAIRS

We can offer 03 diferent step types in metal stairs, namely:

SMOOTH SHEET METAL STEP

it can be covered with tiled or

rubber floor

EXTERNAL CLADDING

Its objective is to guarantee the watertightness of the work. Below we will show the most used closures:
